A new JISC report on mobile devices.
Increasingly, staff and students within higher education institutions own and make use of these devices, particularly, in the case of students, in the main target age group of 18 to 24 years. Currently this use is often personal, informal and ad hoc, but increasingly universities and colleges will need to respond technically, pedagogically and socially to the large numbers of staff and students familiar with such devices and keen to incorporate them into the process and administration of research and education.
