Total quantity or scope: The UK Web Archiving Consortium of six members (British Library, National Archives, National Library of Wales, JISC, National Library of Scotland and Welcome Trust) requires a single contractor able to:
provide the infrastructure to enable members of the consortium to capture web sites;
to host the web archiving service;
to provide public access to the web sites through appropriate interfaces, and
to provide dedicated technical and developmental support.
Each consortium member will be responsible for identifying web sites to be collected and for obtaining permission for those sites to be collected and made accessible. [Document 185155-2003 EN]
