[Future reading: digitization and its discontents](https://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/11/05/071105fa%5Ffact%5Fgrafton?ref=lorcandempsey.net), an article by Anthony Grafton in the New Yorker, was widely noticed this week.  
It was nice to see him mention the [Worldmap](https://www.oclc.org/research/projects/worldmap/default.htm?ref=lorcandempsey.net). This was a project we undertook in the context of the [Changing Global Book Collection Patterns in ARL Libraries](https://www.arl.org/resources/pubs/grn%5Fglobal%5Fbook.shtml?ref=lorcandempsey.net) study. Coincidentally, we put up a new version this week.
