# The publication profile of the Divine Bohemian

From an article in Sunday’s NYT:

The article discusses Myslivecek’s influence on Mozart and his decline in popularity.  
One of the very nice things about [Worldcat Identities](https://orlabs.oclc.org/Identities?ref=lorcandempsey.net) and [Fictionfinder](https://fictionfinder.oclc.org/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) is how they can sometimes reveal trends and insights from the published record. Thom has been talking about this recently in relation to Identities (see [here](https://outgoing.typepad.com/outgoing/2007/03/forgotten%5Fpeopl.html?ref=lorcandempsey.net) and [here](https://outgoing.typepad.com/outgoing/2007/02/a%5Fmusicians%5Fclo.html?ref=lorcandempsey.net) for example).  
I was interested to see what Identities tells us about [Myslivecek](https://orlabs.oclc.org/SRW/search/NameFinder?query=local.pnkey+exact+%22myslivecek,%20josef$1737%201781%22&ref=lorcandempsey.net). His publication timeline is shown above. Yes – he sank into obscurity but there has been a revival of interest in recent yeras. And yes, [Mozart](https://orlabs.oclc.org/SRW/search/NameFinder?query=local.pnkey%20exact%20%22mozart,%20wolfgang%20amadeus$1756%201791%22&ref=lorcandempsey.net) is listed in the related names. His timeline has rather a different profile!
