# The library makes a difference

The Times (of London) has released its *Good University Guide 2007.* It has university rankings on its [web page](https://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,716,00.html?ref=lorcandempsey.net). As usual, Oxford and Cambridge tussle for top spot. Why, somebody asks, is Oxford in top place when Cambridge seems to do better in most of the assessment categories. The response:
