# QA briefings

The QA Focus was an activity provided by [UKOLN](https://www.ukoln.ac.uk/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) and the [AHDS](https://www.ahds.ac.uk/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) to [JISC](https://www.jisc.ac.uk/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) projects. Now finished, it continues to make available eighty [briefing documents](https://www.ukoln.ac.uk/qa-focus/documents/briefings/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) on various aspects of information service development and management, which seem like a useful resource.  
Each is a short, pragmatic introduction to a topic. A wide range is covered, including, for example, current topics like [podcasting](https://www.ukoln.ac.uk/qa-focus/documents/briefings/briefing-83/html/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) and [folksonomies](https://www.ukoln.ac.uk/qa-focus/documents/briefings/briefing-81/html/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) as well as many other management and technical issues.
