OCLC Research publishes a range of [open source software](https://www.oclc.org/research/software/default.htm?ref=lorcandempsey.net), some of it quite widely used. OR open source software now includes support for [SRU](https://www.oclc.org/research/software/srw/default.htm?ref=lorcandempsey.net), OAI-PMH and OpenURL 1.0 – together emerging as core ‘[simple](https://blog.oclc.org/lorcand/archives/000654.html?ref=lorcandempsey.net)‘ infrastructure for library applications.
