# Memories, memories ..

I enjoyed the [UKOLN](https://www.ukoln.ac.uk/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) [thirtieth anniversary celebration](https://www.ukoln.ac.uk/events/anniversary-2008/programme/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) at the British Library last week. It was good to see people from across the years, and Liz Lyon and her UKOLN colleagues did a very fine media narrative of how the organization has evolved. I was struck by how much has happened in that time and was touched by many of the reminiscences.
