*Institutional repositories for the research sector: feasibility study* \[[pdf](https://wiki.tertiary.govt.nz/static/wikifarm/InstitutionalRepositories.uploads/Main/IR%5Freport.pdf?ref=lorcandempsey.net)\] is a report prepared for the National Library of New Zealand.  
I was interested to see the role of the National Library moving this forward. From the initiative’s Wiki:

Incidentally, the [shared Wiki infrastructure](https://wiki.tertiary.govt.nz/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) that is used here is interesting: is a resource for agencies to share information about information issues in the tertiary education sector.
