# Infrastructure and intrastructure

Many services are provided as infrastructure. I have been using the word ‘intrastructure’ to talk about the apparatus of peer to peer interaction. I was curious to see if anybody else had thought of using this ‘word’ in this way. A [search](https://www.google.com/search?q=intrastructure&ref=lorcandempsey.net) on Google is interesting: a lot of people appear to mistype ‘infrastructure’ as ‘intrastructure’!
