# Comment spam

An administrative note: we have turned off commenting, temporarily I hope. There has been an upsurge again in comment spam and we will explore some further options to control it.  
Spam is such a problem that I was sure we would see some high-profile prosecutions last year as various agencies tried to deter spammers. It seems to be something that we need to live with for the moment :\_(
