# Bloom in Dublin

This has gone unremarked on the homepage of the [National Library of Ireland](https://www.nli.ie/default.asp?ref=lorcandempsey.net), an institution which barely appears to have noticed the web. There is a link to a [Joyce e-card gallery](https://www.dublin.ie/gallery-all.aspx?catid=17&ref=lorcandempsey.net) on the Dublin City Library homepage but I did not see anything more. (One wonders what [Joyce](https://www.jamesjoyce.ie/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) would make of our ‘e’ words – a modern ‘e-centricity’.)  
Of course, the National Library features in Ulysses, as you can discover in this [usefully abbreviated version of the novel](https://www.bway.net/~hunger/ch9-ulys.html?ref=lorcandempsey.net).  
A [glance](https://blog.oclc.org/lorcand/archives/001347.html?ref=lorcandempsey.net) at [Worldcat identities](https://orlabs.oclc.org/Identities/?ref=lorcandempsey.net) shows that interest in Joyce continues to be strong.

Ulysses comes quite high on our top 1000 list:
